The PVC extruder screw is exposed to corrosive molten materials for a long time, and traditional 38CrMoAl screws are prone to corrosion and wear, with an average service life of only 4-6 months. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses Cr26 high chromium alloy powder to melt a 2.5mm anti-corrosion and wear-resistant layer on the entire surface of the screw. The cladding layer contains chromium carbide hard phase, with excellent resistance to chloride ion corrosion, hardness HRC60-65, and wear resistance 6 times higher than the original screw. A case study of a PVC drainage pipe produced by a certain pipe factory shows that the service life of the screw is extended to 24 months after melting, the extrusion stability is improved by 10%, and the annual cost savings of consumables for a single extruder exceed 50000 yuan. The high-temperature melting and anti oxidation technology of the equipment ensures that the coating has no pinhole defects.
