The brake discs of new energy vehicles are subject to high-frequency friction during braking, while traditional cast iron discs are prone to thermal degradation. Their service life is only 30000 to 40000 kilometers, and their heavy weight affects their range. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses Al2O3 TiC ceramic composite powder to deposit a 1.5mm wear-resistant layer on the surface of a lightweight aluminum alloy disk base. The cladding layer has a high temperature resistance of up to 800 ℃, a stable friction coefficient of 0.35-0.4, a weight reduction of 40% compared to cast iron discs, and an extended service life of 120000 kilometers. According to experimental data from a certain car company, the thermal degradation rate of brake discs after melting is ≤ 10%, and the overall vehicle range is increased by 3%. The dual station synchronous melting technology of the equipment enables single disc processing time to be reduced to only 12 minutes, which is suitable for mass production needs.
