The gate sleeve of the die-casting mold is subjected to long-term erosion by high-temperature metal liquid, which is prone to inner wall wear and diameter expansion, resulting in disorderly flow of metal liquid and the formation of pores in the product. Daokedao adopts WC Co alloy cladding technology, with a coating hardness of HRC65 on the inner wall of the sprue sleeve. The wear resistance is 4 times higher than the original material, and the inner wall roughness is Ra0.15 μ m. The flow resistance of the molten metal is reduced by 15%. By precisely controlling the cladding thickness, the inner diameter tolerance of the sprue sleeve is controlled within ± 0.02mm, and it fits tightly with the injection head of the die-casting machine. The equipment is equipped with a dedicated rotating fixture for the sprue sleeve, ensuring uniform coating on the inner wall. The repair of the Φ 50mm sprue sleeve only takes 4 hours. After repair, the lifespan of the sprue sleeve has been extended from 10000 pieces to 40000 pieces, and the porosity of the product has been reduced from 7% to 1.8%, making it suitable for aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy die-casting production lines.
