The hoe is the core farm tool for field management. It requires precise loosening and weeding. It is easy to wear and deform the cutting edge during long-term operation, resulting in uneven depth of hoe and poor weeding effect. The traditional hoe has insufficient abrasion resistance and requires frequent grinding or replacement after a period of use.
The Dow Laser Cladding Equipment is applied with a high hardness wear-resistant alloy coating at the cutting edge of hoe and the parts easy to be worn. The coating hardness is over HRC61, and the wear resistance is 3-4 times of that of traditional cutters. The laser cladding process is subject to accurate temperature control, and the tool deformation is ≤ 0.03mm, so as to ensure accurate hoe depth.
The service life of the treated hoe is 2-3 times longer, the depth error of hoe is reduced by 10%, the weeding efficiency is increased by 15% - 20%, and the weed residue rate is reduced by 8%. The equipment supports batch processing of various hoes, reducing cost and improving efficiency for field management.
