The cooling water in the cooling channel of the die casting die flows for a long time, which is easy to cause corrosion and scaling of the inner wall, resulting in reduced heat dissipation efficiency and uneven cooling of the casting, affecting the quality and production efficiency of the casting. Traditional water channel cleaning adopts chemical descaling and high pressure flushing, with short effect, which cannot solve the corrosion problem.

The Dow Laser Cladding Equipment is coated with an anti-corrosion thermal conductive coating on the inner wall of the water channel. The coating has excellent corrosion resistance and can resist the corrosion and scaling of the cooling water. Meanwhile, the thermal conductivity is high and the heat dissipation efficiency is increased by 20% - 25%.

The equipment supports precise cladding of complex shaped cooling channels (curved channels, porous channels) with uniform coating thickness without affecting the channel flow section. For the treated cooling water channel, the failure rate of corrosion and scaling is reduced by 90%, the cooling uniformity of mould is improved by 15% - 20%, and the molding period of casting is shortened by 10% - 12%.
