As the core part of material conveying, the chain of scraper in the mine is subject to heavy load, friction and ore impact for a long time, which is easy to cause chain wear, pin deformation, surface corrosion and other problems, resulting in increased risk of chain fracture and frequent shutdown for replacement. The traditional chain replacement cost is high, the cost of a single chain can reach tens of thousands of yuan, and the replacement period is long, which seriously affects the mining progress.
Based on the chain loss characteristics of scraper, the Dow Laser Cladding Equipment introduces a special repair and reinforcement scheme. Repair the worn parts of the chain by accurate cladding to restore the dimensional accuracy; Wear-resistant alloy coating is applied on the contact surface of chain link and the surface of pin roll to improve the wear resistance.
During cladding process, the heat affected zone is small, the deformation of chain is very small, and the pitch accuracy and transmission performance are not affected. The hardness of the repaired chain can reach over HRC60, the service life can be extended 3-4 times, and the repair cost is only 1/4-1/3 of the new chain. The equipment supports batch repair of the chain. The single repair cycle is shortened to 4-6 hours, greatly reducing the downtime, and saving millions of yuan in operation and maintenance costs for the mine enterprises every year.
