When the spiral fan blade of the industrial fan conveys dusty air flow and high-temperature gas, the blade surface is easy to be scoured and worn by particles, resulting in the aerodynamic performance of the fan blade, the operation efficiency of the equipment and the significant increase of the energy consumption. The traditional spraying coating has weak binding force, which will fall off and peel after 1-2 years of use, and the maintenance cost is high.

Based on the working condition of fan blade, Dow Laser Cladding Equipment adopts tungsten carbide based wear-resistant alloy powder, and forms uniform and dense coating on the windward side of fan blade, blade tip and other vulnerable parts through high-precision trajectory planning. The hardness of the coating can reach over HRC 70, and the abrasion resistance is 5 times of that of the traditional coating, which can effectively resist the erosion of particles.

Metallurgical bonding of coating and base material, bonding strength over 300MPa, service life extended to 5-8 years. For the spiral fan blade treated by cladding, the aerodynamic shape remains intact, the equipment operation efficiency is increased by 12% - 15%, and the unit energy consumption is reduced by more than 10%. The equipment supports fan blade treatment of different sizes and types of fans. Either centrifugal fan or axial flow fan can achieve wear-resistant upgrading, energy conservation and efficiency improvement.
