The Dow Jones pulse YAG laser repair system has unique advantages for micro cracks in gas turbine blades. The system adopts laser parameters with a peak power of 5kW and an adjustable pulse width of 2-10ms. By precisely controlling the laser input energy, repetition rate, and scanning speed, it can achieve micrometer level accuracy in crack repair. For microcracks with a depth less than 0.5mm, a single scan can be used for complete repair; For cracks with a depth of 0.5-2mm, a multi pass overlapping process is used, and the interlayer temperature is controlled below 80 ℃ to ensure that no new thermal cracks are generated in the cladding layer. For the extension repair of worn blade tips, CO2 continuous laser cladding technology is used. Through three-dimensional path planning and real-time monitoring, precise reconstruction of complex curved blade profiles can be achieved, and the fatigue strength retention rate of the repaired blades reaches over 92% of that of new parts.
