Automotive interior ambient lights enhance cabin comfort and aesthetics, requiring high optical clarity, uniform light output, and seamless design. These housings are made of transparent plastics like PMMA and PC, demanding a welding process that preserves transparency and avoids visible welds. Traditional ultrasonic welding leaves visible seams, while hot plate welding may cause material yellowing. DaokeDao laser welding produces seamless, invisible welds that maintain high transparency (transmittance ≥93%) and uniform light output (uniformity error ≤4%). The non-contact process avoids surface scratches and material yellowing, preserving long-term optical performance. It forms a strong bond (shear strength ≥16MPa) that withstands vibration and temperature changes (-30°C to 70°C).
