EV charging cable connector housings protect internal charging pins, requiring high waterproof, dustproof, and flame retardant performance, ensuring safe charging in various weather conditions. Traditional adhesive bonding has poor aging resistance, easy water leakage, while ultrasonic welding may damage internal pins. DaokeDao laser welding provides a high-reliability sealing solution for PC and PA connector housings, achieving IP67 protection grade, blocking rainwater, dust, and snow intrusion. The weld has high flame retardancy (UL94 V-0), avoiding safety risks during high-power charging, and high temperature resistance, adapting to charging heat generation (up to 100°C). The non-contact process does not damage internal pins, ensuring good contact and stable power transmission. The equipment supports automated production, cycle time 8-11 seconds per unit, complying with EU and US charging safety standards, helping EV manufacturers improve charging system safety.
