Glass mold is the core part for the production of glass products (such as wine bottle, glass cup, glassware, etc.). It is required to contact with high temperature glass liquid above 1200 ℃ for a long time, withstand the strong scouring and corrosion of glass liquid and repeated high temperature cooling cycle, and is prone to thermal fatigue cracks, surface erosion and wear, mold deformation and other failures. These faults will lead to defects on the surface of glass products (such as pockmarks, cracks, dimensional deviation) and affect the product quality; At the same time, the service life of the mold is short, and frequent replacement of the mold will increase the production cost and affect the production efficiency. The traditional glass mold is made of cast iron, heat-resistant steel and other materials, with limited heat resistance and abrasion resistance, which is difficult to adapt to the severe working condition of high-temperature glass liquid. Based on the high temperature working condition of glass mould, Dow Laser Cladding Equipment adopts the cladding scheme of high temperature and heat resistant fatigue alloy coating. The coating can withstand the high temperature above 1500 ℃, and has excellent heat fatigue resistance, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance of glass liquid.
Low-temperature cladding process is adopted for the equipment to reduce the thermal deformation of the mould and ensure the dimensional accuracy of the mould. Through the automatic cladding path planning, the uniform cladding of complex parts such as mold cavity and bottle mouth is realized. The cladding layer is closely bonded with the mold matrix, and the bonding strength is ≥ 450MPa. In a glass factory, the bottle mold had thermal fatigue crack after 8000 times of use, and the rejection rate of glass bottle was 4.8%. With the reinforcement of Dow laser cladding equipment, the production time of mould heat crack is delayed to 25000 mould times, the service life is extended by 2 times, the rejection rate of glass wine bottle is reduced to 1.6%, and the annual loss of rejected products of a single mould can be saved by over 120000 yuan. At the same time, the die surface after cladding is smooth, reducing the adhesion of glass liquid, improving the surface quality of glass products, and further enhancing the market competitiveness of enterprises. The repair cost is only 30% of the replacement cost, which greatly reduces the equipment input cost of the enterprise.
