Offshore platform jackets are immersed in seawater containing chloride ions for extended periods, facing severe electrochemical corrosion. Traditional anti-corrosion coatings typically fail within 3-5 years, and reapplication is costly. The DaoKaoDao automated laser cladding equipment utilizes cerium-modified Stellite 21 cobalt-based alloy powder with rare earth elements to apply a 4mm anti-corrosion layer on jacket joints and weld areas. The cladding layer exhibits salt spray corrosion resistance exceeding 10,000 hours, extending the service life by 8-10 times compared to conventional coatings while maintaining a hardness of HRC 55-60 for wear resistance. Application in a South China Sea oilfield demonstrated that the cladded jackets achieve a projected anti-corrosion cycle of 25 years, reducing platform maintenance costs by 80%. The equipment's marine condition-adapted design enables on-site cladding operations directly at offshore platforms.
