The noise level of railway vehicles during braking can reach 110dB, which is disturbing to the public and damages passengers' hearing. Traditional brake disc noise reduction measures have limited effectiveness. Daokedao adopts a composite solution of "texture fusion+damping coating", which fuses honeycomb texture on the friction surface of the brake disc to increase the heat dissipation area while destroying the noise resonance frequency. Combined with the back damping coating, the overall noise reduction is 15-20dB. The friction surface is made of Co-Cr-W alloy fusion, with a hardness of HRC62 and a three fold increase in wear resistance. After 100000 braking tests, the wear amount is only 0.12mm. For the brake disc on the Φ 600mm track, the flatness error is ≤ 0.05mm/m, and the dynamic balance accuracy reaches G2.5 level, which is suitable for high-speed braking scenarios such as high-speed rail and urban rail. After being applied by a certain subway operating company, the brake noise decreased from 108dB to 85dB, which meets the urban noise standards. The brake disc replacement cycle was extended from 1.2 million kilometers to 3 million kilometers, saving an annual replacement cost of 6 million yuan. The scheme has also been certified according to the EN 15595 standard in the rail transit industry, meeting safety and reliability standards.
