The cutter ring of the shield tunneling machine is subjected to severe impact wear during hard rock excavation. The hard phase content of the cladding layer reaches 75%, the hardness is HRC72-76, the impact toughness is ≥ 12J/cm ², and the impact wear resistance is three times higher than that of the original cutting ring. A certain subway shield construction case shows that the excavation mileage of the cutterhead after cladding has been extended to 1500 meters, and a single shield machine can save more than 1.2 million yuan in cutterhead costs per year. The thick wall cladding temperature control technology of the equipment ensures that the cutterhead does not crack or deform.
