The main shaft bearings of wind turbines are subjected to heavy loads and impacts over long periods, making them prone to wear and plastic deformation. Traditional repair methods require disassembly and hoisting, resulting in downtime exceeding 15 days and costs as high as 500,000 yuan. Daoke Dao employs mobile laser cladding equipment that can operate on-site at wind farms without disassembling the main shaft. Using 42CrMo alloy powder and a three-step process of preheating, cladding, and slow cooling, the repaired bearing seat achieves dimensional tolerances of ±0.02mm, roundness errors ≤0.005mm, and a fit accuracy of IT5 grade. The cladding layer exhibits a bonding strength of 650MPa and an impact toughness of ≥20J/cm², meeting the 20-year service life requirements for wind turbine main shafts. A Φ800mm main shaft at a wind farm was repaired in just 72 hours, reducing downtime losses by 80% and cutting repair costs to just 25% of a new main shaft. The equipment is equipped with windproof and dustproof covers, enabling stable operation in environments ranging from -10°C to 40°C, and has served over 30 wind farms nationwide.
