As the core of the transmission system, the gear shaft is prone to abrasion, pitting, peeling off of the tooth top and other problems during long-term engagement of the tooth surface, resulting in increased transmission clearance, increased noise and reduced transmission efficiency. The traditional tooth surface repair adopts the tooth shape machining after surfacing, which is complex in process, high in cost and easy to cause uneven tooth surface hardness.
Based on the wear characteristics of tooth surface, Dow Laser Cladding Equipment adopts special tooth surface cladding technology and evenly cladding the wear-resistant alloy powder on the wear parts of tooth surface through accurate trajectory control. The hardness of tooth surface after cladding is up to HRC62-65, the abrasion resistance is 3-4 times of the original tooth surface, and the tooth profile accuracy error is ≤ 0.03mm, without subsequent large amount of processing.
The equipment supports tooth surface repair and reinforcement of spur gear, bevel gear, bevel gear and other gear shafts. The repair cost is only 1/3-1/2 of the new gear shaft, and the service life is extended by more than 3 times. The processed gear shaft improves the transmission efficiency by 10% - 15% and reduces the noise by 8-10dB, providing reliable guarantee for the mechanical transmission system.
