Laser cladding layer can fundamentally improve the durability of printing and dyeing textile rollers. The microstructure of its cladding layer is extremely fine and dense due to the rapid melting characteristics of laser, significantly improving surface hardness and comprehensive performance. By selecting nickel based, cobalt based, or iron-based alloy powders and adding hard phases such as tungsten carbide as needed, the hardness of the cladding layer can be controlled within a wide range of HRC53-68, effectively resisting the continuous friction of fibers and material wear. In addition, the fusion layer is metallurgically bonded to the substrate, with a bonding strength much higher than the mechanical bonding of traditional electroplating layers, completely solving the risk of coating peeling. For example, when repairing the roller surface corroded by chemical dyes, the nickel based alloy cladding layer can provide excellent corrosion resistance, which can increase the roller life several times.
