The motor shaft neck rotates in coordination with the bearing for a long time, which is prone to abrasion, scratches, ellipses and other problems, resulting in increased motor operation vibration, increased noise, heated bearing, and even motor burning in serious cases. Traditional journal repair adopts electroplating and brush plating process, with poor coating adhesion and short service life.
Based on the wear characteristics of journal, Dow laser cladding equipment adopts wear-resistant alloy powder and accurately cladding the worn parts of journal by laser. The dimension of journal shall be monitored in real time during cladding process to ensure the roundness error of journal ≤ 0.02mm and surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.2 μ m after repair, and the fitting accuracy with the bearing shall be restored to the new shaft level.
The hardness of the repaired journal is above HRC60, the wear resistance is 3-4 times of the original journal, the operating vibration amplitude of the motor is reduced by 70%, the noise is reduced by 10-15dB, and the service life is extended by more than 3 times. The equipment supports journal repair of various motor shafts (asynchronous motor shaft, DC motor shaft, servo motor shaft, etc.), and the repair cost is only 1/4 of the new motor shaft.
