In the production of intermittent die casting, the cup needs to be frequently subjected to the impact and cooling of high temperature metal liquid, which is prone to thermal fatigue cracks, port cracks and other problems. The traditional bowl has insufficient high temperature impact resistance and cannot adapt to the harsh working conditions of intermittent die casting.
Dow laser cladding equipment cladding high temperature impact resistant alloy powder on the surface of the cup, forming a reinforced coating with both high hardness and good toughness. The coating can effectively resist the impact of high temperature molten metal and the alternating cycle of cold and heat, and reduce the generation of thermal fatigue cracks.
The equipment supports the material cup to be reinforced as a whole, with uniform coating thickness and high temperature resistance of more than 1200 ℃. The treated die casting cup reduces the thermal fatigue crack rate by 90%, the port crack failure rate is almost zero, and the service life is 3-5 times longer, fully adapting to the intermittent die casting production requirements.
