Laser cladding can restore the size and improve the performance of hydraulic support columns, but the surface roughness of the cladding layer is relatively high (Ra 6.3-12.5 μ m), and there is a certain shape error, which cannot be directly used. It must be combined with precision machining processes. Traditional turning machining has low efficiency and can damage the density of the cladding surface. Therefore, the composite process of "laser cladding+precision honing" has emerged.
The process route is as follows: first, laser cladding is carried out on the columns that are worn or corroded beyond the tolerance, leaving a processing allowance of 0.3-0.5mm for the cladding thickness. After fusion, a high-precision deep hole honing machine is used to hone the fusion surface. The honing process uses the pressure and reciprocating motion of the oilstone to correct cylindrical and straightness errors through grinding, while achieving the desired surface roughness.
Through this composite process, the dimensional tolerance of the repaired column cylinder inner hole can be stably controlled within ± 0.02mm, and the surface roughness can reach Ra 0.2-0.4 μ m, which is better than the standard for new parts. This ultra smooth surface not only reduces the friction coefficient with the sealing ring, prolongs the service life of the sealing system, but also ensures the smooth operation of the hydraulic support. This composite process has become a standard process for column remanufacturing, ensuring that the quality of remanufactured products is not lower than or even better than new products.
