A mining group has adopted Daokeda Laser Cladding equipment for remanufacturing to address the rust and wear issues of hydraulic support columns. The equipment uses iron-based alloy powder (Fe-Cr-Ni-Mo) and realizes continuous cladding on the outer circle (diameter 200-350mm) of the columns through a fully automatic cladding system. The thickness of the cladding layer is uniformly controlled at 1.5-2mm, and the width of the heat-affected zone is ≤ 0.3mm, avoiding substrate deformation. After repair, the surface hardness of the column reaches HRC50-55, and its wear resistance is 1.8 times that of a new column. The repair cost of a single column is only 32% of that of a new one. Up to now, the equipment has repaired more than 800 columns, saving the mining group over 20 million yuan in procurement costs.
