The elevator traction shaft is the core transmission component of the elevator, which is directly related to the running stability and safety of the elevator. During long-term and high-frequency start and stop of elevator, the fitting part of traction machine journal and bearing is easy to be worn, which leads to smaller journal size and larger fitting clearance, thus causing elevator operation vibration, noise increase and even potential safety hazards such as reduced traction capacity. The traditional method of replacing new shaft is costly, and will cause the elevator to stop running for a long time, affecting the normal use of residents and commercial places. Based on the reinforcing requirements of elevator traction shaft, Dow Laser Cladding Equipment adopts wear-resistant and anti-fatigue alloy coating cladding scheme to form a dense reinforcing layer on the journal surface, effectively improving the wear resistance and anti-fatigue strength of the journal.
High-precision positioning and cladding technology is adopted for the equipment to ensure that the thickness uniformity error of cladding layer is ≤ ± 0.01mm, and the fit clearance with the bearing accurately matches the original design standard, so as to avoid operation failure caused by improper fit clearance. An elevator maintenance company strengthened the traction shaft of 30 old elevators that have operated for more than 10 years. These elevators previously suffered from wear of shaft neck, with vibration value of 0.12mm/s and noise exceeding 65dB, resulting in poor riding experience of passengers. The service life of the reinforced traction machine shaft is extended to more than 15 years, which is 2 times higher than that of the unreinforced shaft. Meanwhile, the maintenance frequency is reduced by 30%, and the annual maintenance cost saved for the maintenance company is more than 500000 yuan. For the user, there is no need to replace a new traction machine, greatly reducing the equipment update cost, and strengthening the construction period is short. A single elevator can be completed only after 24 hours of shutdown, without affecting the normal use.
