Under the erosion of high-temperature molten metal, the die casting die is prone to thermal fatigue cracks and corrosion. Aiming at the pain point of this industry, Dow's automatic laser cladding equipment adopts the self-developed high-temperature and heat-resistant fatigue coating formula. The coating can stably withstand the extreme high temperature environment of 600-800 ℃ through special process blending. In the cladding process, the equipment combines the coating material with the die base material through the high-precision laser beam, so as to ensure close connection between the two, and the thermal expansion coefficient is highly matched, effectively avoiding the coating peeling caused by temperature difference. 

Taking a large die-casting plant for example, the service life of the die for producing aluminum alloy die-casting parts is short due to frequent thermal cracks. The mold performance is significantly improved after the introduction of Dokdo laser cladding equipment: the generation time of thermal crack is greatly delayed from 10000 mode times to 30000 mode times, and the service life is doubled; At the same time, the annual maintenance cost is directly reduced by 60% due to the reduced frequency of mold maintenance. The actual production verification shows that the surface hardness of the die after cladding can reach HRC55-60, and the wear resistance is more than 3 times higher than that of the traditional die, which provides strong support for enterprises to greatly improve production efficiency and reduce operating costs.
