The chemical reactor agitator rotates at high speed in strongly acidic and alkaline media. Replacement requires emptying the reactor, costing over 500,000 yuan. Daokedaobao applied a Hastelloy C-276 coating through cladding. This alloy contains 16% molybdenum, offering four times the corrosion resistance of titanium alloy. Additionally, the coating hardness reaches HRC45, enhancing wear resistance and extending the service life to 8 years. After implementation at a dye intermediate production plant in India, the agitator replacement cycle was extended from 2 to 8 years, reducing annual corrosion maintenance costs by 80%. Improved operational stability of the agitator ensured more thorough reactions, increasing chemical product purity from 98% to 99.5%. The higher product yield rate enabled successful entry into the European high-end chemical market, with annual sales growing by 15%.
