Drone brake discs need to be extremely lightweight and wear-resistant. Traditional aluminum alloy discs are prone to wear and tear, with a service life of only 50-80 takeoffs and landings. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses Al2O3 TiC ceramic composite powder to deposit a 0.8mm wear-resistant layer on the surface of aviation aluminum alloy disk base. The weight of the cladding layer only increased by 3g, the hardness was HRC70-75, and the service life was extended to 300 takeoffs and landings. A test conducted by a certain drone research and development enterprise shows that the braking distance of the brake disc is stable after melting, which is suitable for the high-altitude braking needs of drones. The precision melting technology of the micro components of the equipment ensures the processing of small-sized brake discs.
