Building steel structures are easily corroded by wind and rain outdoors, and traditional anti-corrosion coatings need to be repainted after 1-2 years, resulting in high maintenance costs. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses Zn Mg Al zinc magnesium alloy powder to melt a 1.5mm anti-corrosion layer on the surface of the steel structure. The cladding layer is resistant to neutral salt spray corrosion for up to 3000 hours, which is 5-6 times longer than traditional coatings, and there is no risk of peeling when metallurgically bonded to the substrate. The application of a steel structure factory project shows that the expected anti-corrosion life of the steel structure after cladding is 12 years, and the anti-corrosion cost per 10000 square meters of steel structure is reduced by 30% compared to coating. The portable cladding head design of the equipment can adapt to complex on-site structural construction.
