Nonferrous metal extrusion molds are subjected to high temperature and high pressure wear during the extrusion of aluminum and copper profiles, and the service life of traditional H13 mold steel is only 500-1000 molds. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses W-Ni-Fe tungsten based alloy powder to melt a 1-2mm strengthening layer in the working zone of the mold. The high-temperature hardness of the cladding layer reaches HRC55 or above (500 ℃ environment), and the wear resistance is 5 times higher than that of H13 steel. After being applied in a certain aluminum profile factory, the service life of the molds has been extended to 3000-5000 molds, the surface smoothness of the profiles has been improved, and the annual production efficiency of a single set of molds has been increased by 4 times.
