The impeller of a centrifugal compressor experiences blade wear and cavitation due to medium erosion. The replacement cost of traditional stainless steel impellers exceeds 500000 yuan, and the procurement cycle is as long as 3 months. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses Ni Cr Mo Nb nickel based alloy powder to repair impeller blades. Through 3D scanning modeling and five axis linkage melting, the blade surface contour is accurately restored, and the hardness of the melting layer is HRC50-55, with a 3-fold increase in cavitation resistance compared to the original impeller. A case study of a chemical enterprise shows that repairing one impeller cost only 150000 yuan and took 7 days. After repair, the efficiency of the impeller was restored to 98% of the original product, and it has been running stably for 2 years without any faults.
