Long term meshing of automotive gearbox gears leads to tooth surface wear, thinning of tooth thickness by 0.1-0.3mm, resulting in gear shifting jerks. Traditional maintenance requires replacing the gearbox assembly, with a cost exceeding 20000 yuan. Daokedao adopts precision laser cladding technology, using 20CrMnTiH alloy powder. The thickness of the tooth surface cladding layer is 0.1-0.3mm, the hardness is HRC58-62, and the tooth thickness accuracy is restored to ± 0.01mm. By using five axis linkage cladding to replicate the tooth profile, the meshing clearance is controlled at 0.15-0.2mm, and the shifting smoothness is improved by 90%. A certain gearbox repair shop only takes 8 hours to repair a Φ 80mm gear, with a cost of 3000 yuan, saving 17000 yuan compared to replacing the assembly. After repair, the gear life reaches 80% of that of a new part. Adapting to manual and automatic transmission gears, we have served over 100 auto repair shops, with a customer repurchase rate of 90% and a 95% reduction in complaints about gear shifting jerks.
