Cold work molds (such as stamping dies and shearing dies) with blade edge cracks of 0.1-0.5mm can cause excessive burrs on the workpiece, resulting in a scrap rate of over 15%. Daokedao adopts a "crack cleaning+gradient melting" scheme, first using laser to remove crack defects, and then using a "tough alloy wear-resistant alloy" gradient melting from the substrate to the surface to avoid brittle edge cracking. Cr12MoV alloy powder is selected, with a blade hardness of HRC60-63 and an impact toughness of ≥ 15J/cm ², which is 40% higher than traditional repair toughness. The repair of the cutting edge of the Φ 300mm shearing die only takes 6 hours, with a cost of 5000 yuan, saving 45000 yuan compared to the new die. After repair, the cutting edge life is extended from 3000 times to 10000 times. After application in a certain sheet metal factory, the burr exceedance rate of workpieces has been reduced from 20% to 1%, and the cutting efficiency has been improved by 20%. It is suitable for cold stamping and cutting scenarios such as low carbon steel and stainless steel, and the equipment has a built-in cold work mold special process parameter library, making it easy to change molds.
