During the extrusion of PPR pipes, screw wear leads to uneven mixing of molten materials, resulting in hot melt marks on the pipes and a decrease in pressure resistance, with a pass rate of only 93%. Daokedao adopts Cr Mo alloy cladding technology, with a surface coating hardness of HRC55-58 on the screw edges, a 2.5-fold increase in wear resistance, a surface roughness of Ra0.08 μ m on the screw groove, and a 40% improvement in the uniformity of the melt mixture. For the screw of Φ 110mm PPR pipe, the thickness of the cladding layer is 1mm, the clearance between the material and the barrel is controlled at 0.2-0.25mm, and the extrusion pressure is stable at 15-18MPa. After repair, the defect rate of hot melt marks in the pipes decreased to 0.8%, and the pass rate increased to 99.8%. The compliance time for static hydraulic strength testing (110 ℃, 1MPa) was extended from 48 hours to 100 hours, which meets the GB/T 18742.2 PPR pipe standard. After application in a certain pipe factory, the daily production of a single equipment increased by 12 tons, the loss of waste was reduced by 90%, and the screw life was extended from 8 months to 24 months, suitable for extrusion production of PPR pipes for hot and cold water.
