When driving in snow, ordinary brake discs are prone to snow and ice accumulation, leading to brake failure and a friction coefficient below 0.2. Daokedao adopts a "fusion anti-skid texture+hydrophobic coating" scheme, in which diamond shaped anti-skid texture (depth 0.2mm) is fused onto the friction surface of the brake disc to increase ice and snow adhesion, and combined with hydrophobic coating to reduce snow accumulation, the friction coefficient remains at 0.35-0.4 in snowy environments. The friction surface is coated with Ni Cr alloy, with a hardness of HRC60 and a threefold increase in wear resistance. After 500 snow braking tests, there is no slipping phenomenon. For the Φ 300mm snow specific brake disc, the dynamic balance accuracy reaches G2.5 level, suitable for snow tire braking system. After the application of 100 vehicles by a northern taxi company, the snow braking accident rate decreased from 12% to 0.5%, and the brake disc replacement cycle was extended from 6 months to 15 months, significantly improving the safety of winter operations. This solution is also suitable for vehicles such as SUVs and off-road vehicles that often travel on icy and snowy roads.
