The brake discs of drones are small in size (Φ 50-100mm) and light in weight, and need to withstand high-frequency takeoff and landing braking. Traditional metal brake discs are heavy and prone to wear. Daokedao adopts the "titanium alloy substrate+nano ceramic fusion coating" scheme, which reduces the weight of the titanium alloy substrate by 30% compared to aluminum alloy. The surface is coated with Al ₂ O ∝ - TiC coating, with a hardness of HV1200 and wear resistance 8 times that of pure titanium alloy. For the Φ 80mm drone brake disc, with a cladding layer thickness of 0.5mm and an overall weight of only 80g, the braking response time is shortened by 10%. After 5000 takeoff and landing tests, the wear amount is only 0.05mm. The reinforced brake disc is compatible with the drone hydraulic braking system, with a stable friction coefficient of 0.38-0.42 and no deformation at high temperatures (400 ℃). After being applied by a certain drone enterprise, the drone's range has increased by 5%, the brake disc replacement cycle has been extended from 500 takeoffs and landings to 2000, and maintenance costs have been reduced by 75%. This solution is also suitable for various small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles such as crop protection and surveying, solving the contradiction between wear resistance and lightweight of micro brake systems.
