Due to frequent mold closing movements and high temperature effects, the slider of the die-casting mold is prone to wear on the guide surface and increased mold closing clearance, resulting in excessive product flash. Daokedao adopts Co Cr alloy cladding technology, with a slider guide surface hardness of HRC58-62 and a threefold increase in wear resistance. After repair, the mold clearance is controlled at 0.01-0.02mm, and the product flash rate is reduced from 15% to 1.5%. Through segmented melting and stress relief process, the deformation of the slider is ≤ 0.01mm, and the movement is smooth without any jamming. The equipment is equipped with a dedicated positioning fixture for sliders, ensuring accurate matching between the slider and the mold after repair. The repair time for a single slider does not exceed 8 hours. After repair, the lifespan of the die-casting mold slider has been extended from 10000 pieces to 35000 pieces, with stable mold clamping accuracy and adaptability to the production of complex structure die-casting products.
