EV battery pack side panels protect the battery from side impact and debris, requiring high strength, impact resistance, and sealing performance, ensuring battery safety. Traditional mechanical fastening has gaps, leading to debris and moisture intrusion, while adhesive bonding degrades under impact. DaokeDao plastic laser welding provides a high-reliability sealing solution for flame-retardant PP and PA66-GF side panels, complying with EV battery safety standards. The laser forms a dense, continuous weld with tensile strength ≥28MPa, capable of withstanding side impact without cracking. The hermetic seal (IP67 rating) blocks debris and moisture, protecting internal battery modules. The equipment supports large-size side panel welding, automated production, cycle time 11-14 seconds per unit, full parameter traceability.
