The turbine blades of thermal power plants operate in a high-temperature and high-pressure steam environment for a long time, and impurities in the steam continue to erode the surface of the blades. The cost of replacing the blades every year accounts for more than 35% of the equipment maintenance cost, and replacement requires a 3-5 day shutdown, resulting in huge production capacity losses. The Daokedao laser cladding equipment has developed a specialized NiCrBSi alloy cladding material for high-temperature conditions. This material can maintain high hardness of HRC58 even at a high temperature of 600 ℃, and its erosion resistance is four times that of the original turbine blade material. After a large domestic thermal power plant used this equipment to melt and repair the turbine blades of Unit 3, the maintenance cycle of the blades was extended from 1 year to 3 years, and the maintenance time for a single shutdown was shortened to 1 day. The annual cost of blade replacement for a single unit was saved by about 800000 yuan, and the power generation loss caused by shutdown was reduced by more than 2 million kWh. The equipment was put into operation for six months and the cost was recovered.
