The extrusion rod of the non-ferrous metal extruder works under high temperature and pressure. Traditional welding repair requires a large amount of heat input, and the deformation of the extrusion rod exceeds 0.3mm, resulting in a decrease in the extrusion accuracy of the profile. In addition, the welding layer is prone to cracking, and the success rate of repair is less than 60%.

The Daokedao laser cladding equipment adopts low stress cladding technology, with a heat input of only 1/7 of the weld deposit, and the deformation of the extrusion rod is controlled within 0.05mm, without the need for subsequent calibration. High temperature resistant alloy powder is selected, and the strength retention rate of the cladding layer reaches 95% at a high temperature of 500 ℃.

The service life of the repaired extrusion rod has been extended to 2-3 years. After adopting this technology, a certain aluminum profile factory has increased the qualification rate of profile extrusion by 18%, saved maintenance costs of over 500000 yuan per year, and adapted to the high-precision needs of the non-ferrous metal processing industry.
