The electrode mold of new energy storage equipment needs to ensure that the electrode sheets are uniformly formed. Traditional spray coatings are prone to adhere to electrode materials, resulting in surface defects on the electrode sheets, and the wear resistance of the coating is limited, with a service life of only 10000 to 20000 molds.

The Daokedao laser cladding equipment uses anti adhesive and wear-resistant alloy powder, and the friction coefficient of the cladding layer is as low as 0.09, reducing the adhesion of electrode materials by 80%. The coating hardness reaches HRC63-66, the wear resistance is three times that of traditional spraying, and the electrode forming accuracy is improved by 20%.

The service life of the repaired mold has been extended to 40000 to 50000 mold cycles, the qualification rate of energy storage electrodes has increased by 15%, and the repair cost is only one-third of that of the new mold.
