The nozzle aperture of 3D printers is very small (minimum 0.1mm), and traditional stainless steel nozzles are prone to sticking molten plastic, causing nozzle blockage and defects in printed models. The nozzle wears out quickly and has a service life of only 100-200 hours.
The Daokedao laser cladding equipment uses a micro beam laser to melt an anti adhesive coating on the inner wall of the nozzle, with a friction coefficient as low as 0.08, reducing plastic adhesion by 90% and clogging rate by 95%. The coating hardness reaches HRC65-68, and the wear resistance is 5 times that of stainless steel, without affecting the nozzle aperture accuracy.
The service life of the repaired nozzle has been extended to 500-600 hours, the qualification rate of 3D printing models has increased by 20%, and the repair cost is only 1/5 of that of the new nozzle.
