The precision requirement for the cavity size of the medical device suture needle mold is ± 0.003mm. Traditional grinding repair cannot restore the contour of the small cavity, resulting in insufficient sharpness of the suture needle tip and inability to meet medical use standards, leading to a high scrap rate of the mold.

The Daokedao laser cladding equipment adopts fiber optic microbeam laser+CCD visual positioning technology to accurately fuse the small wear parts of the cavity, with a coating thickness error of ≤± 0.001mm, perfectly restoring the formed contour of the needle tip.
