Drill bits generate a large amount of heat during high-speed drilling, leading to high-temperature oxidation failure of the cutting edge, especially when processing materials such as high-temperature alloys and stainless steel, where oxidation wear problems are more prominent. Traditional drill bits have limited heat resistance and short service life.

The Daokedao laser cladding equipment provides high-temperature resistance upgrades for drill bits. On the surface of the drill bit, a high-temperature resistant oxide alloy coating is melted, with a heat resistance temperature of over 1300 ℃ and a 4-fold increase in oxidation resistance. The fusion layer is metallurgically bonded to the substrate and is not easily peeled off at high temperatures.

The upgraded drill bit extends its service life by 6-8 times when processing high-temperature alloys, increases drilling efficiency by 30%, and eliminates the need for frequent drill bit replacement. In the fields of high-temperature alloy processing such as aerospace and automotive manufacturing, this technology can significantly improve processing efficiency and product quality.
