The transmission shaft and gear shaft of heavy-duty machinery need to have both high strength and high wear resistance. During traditional induction hardening, the depth of the hardened layer is only 2-3mm, and defects such as uneven hardened layer and cracking are prone to occur, which can lead to fatigue fracture under heavy load conditions.

The Daokedao laser cladding equipment provides a deep strengthening solution for heavy-duty shafts. The equipment can achieve the preparation of cladding layers with any thickness of 0.5-10mm, using high-strength alloy powder. The tensile strength of the cladding layer reaches over 1200MPa, and the depth of the quenched layer is three times that of induction hardening.

In heavy-duty equipment such as mine crushers and rolling mills, the reinforced shaft parts of Daokedao equipment have a fatigue life extended by four times and a fracture failure rate reduced by 80%. The characteristic of the cladding layer being "hard on the outside and tough on the inside" perfectly adapts to the usage requirements of heavy-duty impact conditions.
