After the milling cutter breaks its teeth, it is scrapped using traditional methods, and the cost of a single high-speed steel milling cutter exceeds 1000 yuan. Daokedao adopts the "broken tooth cleaning+tooth profile replication fusion" scheme. First, the residual part of the broken tooth is removed by laser, and then the new tooth is replicated by tooth profile scanning fusion. High speed steel powder consistent with the original milling cutter material is selected, with a tooth profile accuracy of ± 0.02mm and a cutting edge hardness of HRC62-65. The repair cost of a Φ 25mm end mill is 300 yuan, and its lifespan is 75% of that of a new tool. After repair, when milling 45 # steel, the number of single tool workpieces decreased from 800 for the new tool to 600, which is still more cost-effective than scrapping. After being applied in a certain machinery factory, the scrap rate of milling cutters has decreased from 25% to 5%, saving tool costs of 100000 yuan per year. It is compatible with different types of milling cutters such as end mills and end mills, and supports 2-4 tooth milling cutter tooth breakage repair. The number of broken teeth can be repaired within 1/3 of the total number of teeth.
