The oil plunger guide sleeve is subject to reciprocating friction with the plunger for a long time, which is easy to cause abrasion and scratches on the inner wall, increasing the motion resistance of the plunger, reducing the guiding accuracy and affecting the pumping efficiency. The traditional guide sleeve is repaired by grinding, with short effect and frequent replacement after wearing.

The Dow Laser Cladding Equipment is clad with wear-resistant self-lubricating coating on the inner wall of the guide sleeve. The coating hardness is over HRC60, and the friction coefficient is low, which can effectively reduce the motion resistance and improve the guiding accuracy. Metallurgical combination of coating and guide sleeve base material, 3-4 times longer service life.

The equipment supports precise cladding of the inner wall of the guide sleeve, and the coating thickness uniformity error is ≤ 0.02mm. After repair, the fit clearance between the guide sleeve and the plunger is accurate, and the motion stability is improved by 50%. The repair cost is only 1/4 of the new guide sleeve, and the repair cycle is shortened to 12 hours, greatly reducing the operation and maintenance cost of the oil field.
