The transmission shaft keyway is subject to torque transmission for a long time, which is easy to be worn, deformed and chipped, resulting in insufficient transmission torque, loose key block and even equipment failure. The traditional keyway repair adopts the method of expanding slot bushing, the process is complicated, and the shaft body strength is affected.
The Dow Laser Cladding Equipment adopts the micro-beam laser accurate cladding technology to repair the worn and chipped parts of the keyway and restore the original size and shape of the keyway. High-strength alloy is selected as cladding material, and the strength of repaired keyway is equal to or even superior to the original keyway.
For the repaired transmission shaft, the transmission torque is restored to the design standard, the loose fault rate of key block is reduced by 95%, and the service life is increased by 2-3 times. The equipment supports the repair of keyways of different specifications, and the repair cycle is shortened to 4-6 hours. The repair cost is only 1/5 of the new transmission shaft, providing a fast and reliable repair scheme for the mechanical transmission system.
