Transmission shaft spline is the key part of power transmission. Long-term meshing transmission is prone to gear surface wear, tooth top cracking, deformation and other problems, resulting in reduced power transmission efficiency and increased noise. The traditional spline repair adopts grinding and welding, with poor effect and short service life.
The Dow laser cladding equipment adopts the micro-beam laser accurate cladding technology to repair the worn and cracked parts of spline tooth surface. High-strength alloy powder is selected to restore the accuracy of spline tooth profile after repair. The tooth surface hardness reaches above HRC60, and the abrasion resistance and impact resistance are improved by 30%.
The power transmission efficiency of the repaired transmission shaft is increased by 10% - 15%, the noise is reduced by 8-10dB, and the service life is increased by 2-3 times. The equipment supports different specifications of spline (rectangular spline, involute spline) repair, and the repair cost is only 1/5 of the new drive shaft.
