In die casting production, the cup needs to be continuously conveyed with high temperature molten metal, and the inner wall is subject to high temperature scouring and mechanical friction at 600-1200 ℃ for a long time, prone to abrasion, erosion, deformation and other problems, resulting in increased risk of liquid metal leakage and unstable casting quality. Traditional cups are made of heat-resistant steel, with service life of 3000-5000 die times, high replacement cost and serious restriction on production efficiency.
Dow laser cladding equipment adopts nickel-based superalloy powder for cladding strengthening of inner wall for high-temperature working condition of die casting material cup. The coating formed by laser cladding has excellent high temperature resistance, and can maintain good wear and corrosion resistance under the environment above 1000 ℃. The coating and the base material are metallurgical bonded and not easy to fall off.
The equipment supports accurate cladding of the inner wall of the material cup. The coating thickness can be adjusted to 0.5-3mm according to the requirements, and the dimensional accuracy error is ≤ 0.05mm. The service life of the processed die casting material cup is extended to 15000-2000die times, 3-4 times of the traditional material cup, and the qualification rate of the casting is increased by more than 10%. The Dow equipment can also repair and regenerate the waste and scrap material cups, and the repair cost is only 1/3 of the new parts, which greatly reduces the production cost of the die casting enterprises and helps the enterprises to achieve green and efficient production.
