Hydraulic cylinder piston rods are prone to scratches, corrosion, and wear under harsh working conditions. Daokedao high-speed laser cladding technology is used to prepare iron-based or stainless steel alloy coatings on the surface of piston rods, replacing traditional electroplating hard chromium processes. The fusion layer is metallurgically bonded to the substrate, with a bonding strength exceeding 450MPa, much higher than the mechanical bonding strength of the electroplating layer. The coating is dense and defect free, and its corrosion resistance reaches 1000 hours without red rust in the salt spray test, which is 5-8 times that of the electroplating layer. This technology has no environmental pollution, long coating life, and has become the preferred process for remanufacturing piston rods in fields such as engineering machinery and metallurgical equipment, reducing maintenance costs by more than 40%.
