Ultra high speed laser cladding technology provides an effective solution to the problem of deformation of slender piston rods during the repair process. This technology uses specially designed nozzles, with a melting line speed of 100-500 mm/s and a melting area of 0.5-1 m ² per unit time. The deposition efficiency is 3-5 times that of traditional laser melting. By increasing scanning speed and optimizing laser power (such as using high-power lasers ranging from 6000-12000W), thermal input can be significantly reduced. Simulation and experimental results show that after optimizing the parameters, the bending deformation of the piston rod can be reduced by 40%, while ensuring that the hardness of the cladding layer is greater than 60 HRC (about 713 HV). The high-precision CNC machine tool (with a repeat positioning accuracy of less than 0.06mm) ensures the accuracy of the cladding path, further ensuring the uniformity and consistency of the cladding layer and the straightness of the piston rod.
