As a precision transmission component, the shaft head has extremely strict requirements for dimensional and positional tolerances. Laser cladding technology, with its high degree of automation and controllability, can achieve near net forming repair of shaft heads. By precise programming, the robot or CNC machine can be controlled to execute the repair path, and the laser spot and powder feeding amount can be accurately adjusted, thereby achieving precise control of the thickness and shape of the cladding layer. This allows the residual amount after cladding to be controlled within a very narrow range of 0.3-0.5mm, greatly reducing the amount of cutting required for subsequent precision machining. Not only does it save expensive alloy materials, but it also shortens the machining cycle, ensuring that the repaired shaft head can be quickly and accurately restored to the tolerance range required by the design drawings.
